Who We Are
Omokos Diagnostics and Clinical Services Ltd is a registered Nigerian healthcare company committed to delivering affordable, accurate, and accessible diagnostic services to individuals, families, and organisations in Benin City and beyond.
We were founded by Musa Shuaibu Omoko — a healthcare entrepreneur and BSc Chemistry holder — with a clear and deliberate vision: to build a healthcare institution that truly serves the Nigerian people, starting from the grassroots of the Igo community in Benin City, Edo State.
From our very first day of operation, we have built Omokos on three uncompromising foundations: quality, integrity, and care for the patient. Every test we run, every result we deliver, and every patient we serve reflects those values.
Omokos Diagnostics and Clinical Services Ltd is fully incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) of Nigeria, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and committed to operating in full compliance with all applicable Nigerian healthcare regulations.
Our Story — Built From Determination
Every great institution begins with a single step. For Omokos, that step was taken on the 1st of November 2022.
In September 2022, Musa Shuaibu Omoko registered a medical laboratory business under the name Omokoshaban Medical Laboratory, with CAC Business Name registration number BN3756544, on the 19th day of September 2022. Within weeks, the laboratory was set up, equipped, and ready to serve.
On the 1st of November 2022, Omokoshaban Medical Laboratory opened its doors for the first time at Igo Community, after Ekehuan Barracks, after Mango Mango, before Askaf Filling Station, Ovia North-East, Benin City, Edo State. That first day of operation marked the beginning of something that would grow far beyond what the neighbourhood could then imagine.
The early months were defined by discipline, patience, and an unrelenting focus on quality. Every patient who walked through our doors received the same level of accuracy, professionalism, and care — regardless of the size of the test or the cost of the service. Word spread. Trust grew. The business grew with it.
By 2025, what had begun as a medical laboratory had grown into something significantly larger — a multi-service healthcare enterprise with laboratory diagnostics, hospital and medical equipment sales, and a clear roadmap for continued expansion. It was time to formalise that growth with a structure that matched the vision.
On the 14th of November 2025, Omokoshaban Medical Laboratory was upgraded and incorporated as a private company limited by shares under the name Omokos Diagnostics and Clinical Services Ltd, with CAC registration number RC8998844. The new name reflected not just where the company had arrived — but where it was going.
The name Omokos is derived from the founder’s family name — Omoko. It is personal, purposeful, and built to last. When you walk into Omokos, you walk into something that carries the founder’s name, reputation, and commitment to excellence.

Our Founder
Omokos Diagnostics and Clinical Services Ltd was founded by Musa Shuaibu Omoko — a scientist, healthcare entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for accessible healthcare in Nigeria.
Musa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and brings with him deep knowledge of the scientific principles underlying medical diagnostics. Before founding Omokos, he gained direct experience working within the Nigerian healthcare system — an experience that gave him both the technical foundation and the frontline insight to understand what patients truly need from a diagnostics provider.
His vision for Omokos was never merely to run a laboratory. It was — and remains — to build a healthcare conglomerate that grows from the grassroots of Benin City into a regional and eventually national institution of healthcare excellence.
Under his leadership, Omokos has grown from a single-room medical laboratory into a registered company with multiple service lines, a growing reputation in the community, and a clear strategic roadmap for the years ahead.

3. Ultrasound Imaging Services — Coming Soon
Omokos is actively preparing to introduce ultrasound scanning services within 2026. The addition of a brand new 2D ultrasound machine will transform Omokos from a medical laboratory into a full diagnostics centre — offering imaging services including obstetric and gynaecological scans, abdominal scans, and musculoskeletal imaging.
This expansion responds directly to the needs of our community — particularly the large number of pregnant women and patients requiring imaging services who currently travel long distances to access quality scans.
When our ultrasound service launches, Omokos will become one of the most comprehensively equipped diagnostic facilities in the Ekehuan area of Benin City — offering laboratory testing and imaging under one roof, with the same commitment to quality and affordability that defines everything we do.
